Our 2nd Corfu Symposium on Managing & Marketing Places is proudly supported and sponsored by:
We are delighted to announce that the Institute of Place Management has provided formal accreditation for the 2nd Corfu Symposium on Managing and Marketing Places to encourage and support individuals undertaking continuous professional development.
The Institute of Place Management is the professional membership organisation that supports and represents organisations and practitioners in the place management and development sector. In this role the Institute supports and encourages the continuous professional development of those individuals engaged in place management, to maintain, improve and broaden their knowledge and skills to maintain a sufficiently high standard of professional competence.
The Institute of Place Management’s links with the Journal of Place Management and Development, with its focus on communicating with academics, practitioners, policy makers and local government, is also a driving factor behind the balance between academic and practitioner input into this event.
The Symposium team is very appreciative of the sponsorship for our venue provided by the Aquis Mon Repos Palace Hotel in their Gallery conference room.
The historical Aquis Mon Repos Palace is situated on the famous Corfu Promenade, at the tip of Garitsa Bay with panoramic views to old Venetian fort of the Corfu town, the Ionian sea and directly in the front of a small beach and the municipal Mon Repos beach.
The Theotoky Estate is famed for its fine wines, organic extra virgin olive oil and mouth-watering olives that are exported across Europe and beyond. The Theotoky family is one of the oldest families in Greece and the Estate has been in the Theotoky family for generations.
An exciting addition to our 2015 Symposium Programme will be a visit to this 300 acre Estate set in the beautiful Ropa Valley area of Corfu, with an opportunity for delegates to sample some of the famous Theotoky wines and olive oil.
Based in the North West Corfu village of Arillas, Corfu Beer is produced by the Corfu Microbrewery, dedicated to producing the finest craft ales and pilsners from fresh products, using no chemicals or preservatives in the brewing process. The Symposium team is very pleased to have gained the continuing support of the Microbrewery for this event.
